Days like today don't come along very often in times like these. The good guys won. The black hats were defeated. By God's good grace freedom, your freedom, was defended and war has been prevented for now.

Amen. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord!

Every anti-freedom (AKA gun control) bill went down in flames today. Despite our fearless leader's constant crying out that "90% of America wants this" that didn't work.

Wanna know why?

Cause he was talking to the same America that he was speaking for.

Don't lie to the people who give you your job.

Don't use shattered families as pawns in your ridiculous agenda.

Shame on you mister president and GREAT job senators.

    We lost the battle, but not the war. :) Here's hoping the obstructionists and NRA puppets lose their jobs.

A Happy Bear

Had I been given a million chances I’d have never guessed my life would end up how it is. I write this from the second floor of our home listening to my son sleep through the baby monitor as my wife gets ready for bed. It’s a nice house, too, something that just two years ago we couldn’t have hoped to own. Adding to that it’s our second home, in just a couple years. Two nice cars sit in our garage. One of them is even a Lexus.  And yet this is not the life I wished for all those years ago. So if all my wildest dreams didn’t come true why do I feel so blessed?
